Brand History

Shin Mura Wagyu Robata Sdn. Bhd. began with the founders’ joy of discovering eateries together, the countless meals they shared sparked deep conversations and strengthened their friendship.

 

Over time they envisioned creating a space where others could find the same magic they did—a space where connections are made while enjoying delicious food. Inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of a popular Chinese hot pot chain, which they visited as a bi-weekly affair, they saw how people loved cooking their own food.

 

It dawned on them that dining out is more than just about eating but also about an opportunity to serve each other. In that spirit, they decided to start a Japanese Robata where guests grill together. An interactive, fun, activity that brings people together to nourish their bodies and souls.

They also understood how maintaining a healthy diet while dining out can be challenging, so their menu centers around the highest quality Miyazaki A5 Wagyu that is known for evenly distributed marbling, with higher levels of monounsaturated fatty acids that provide a deep umami flavour and a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Wagyu is an excellent source of protein and supplies 10 essential nutrients, including B-vitamins, zinc, iron and also rich in glutamic and other amino acids that support metabolism, brain, and cardiac functions.

Our Wagyu and other fresh ingredients are free from preservatives, hormones, and unnecessary additives because we believe food should be natural and unprocessed.

At Shin Mura, every cut of beef tells a story — one that begins in the countryside of Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. Known for its dedication to craftsmanship, this region produces the award-winning A5 Miyazaki Wagyu (we import and serve only those graded BMS 10 to 12) — the highest level of marbling on the Japanese scale.


What makes Miyazaki Wagyu truly exceptional isn’t just the grade — it’s the experience. As it meets the grill, the fine marbling melts gently into the meat, creating a buttery texture that melts on the tongue. The flavour is clean, rich, and deeply savoury, with a subtle sweetness that lingers — indulgent, yet refined.


Beyond taste, Miyazaki Wagyu is also valued for its higher content of monounsaturated fats and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which contribute to a smoother mouthfeel and are considered more heart-friendly than other types of fat — a rare balance of luxury and wellness.


All our Wagyu is imported directly from Japan, with each cut accompanied by an individual ID and official certification, verifying its origin, grade, and halal compliance. This full traceability reflects our commitment to authenticity and quality — from farm to flame.
